About:
Camp Bhagirathi -Byasi is a great stress busting destination surrounded by thick Sal forest right on the Badrinath-Kedarnath highway. With a huge landscaped garden the camp is an ideal place to be for corporate training, adventure and leisure tourists. Residents of Camp Bhagirathi-Byasi are allowed to use the facilities (except residential block) of our beach Camp, Camp River N Range-Ganges without an extra cost. Camp Bhagirath -Byasi is just 2.5 kms from Camp River N Range-Ganges.
Accommodation:
20 twin bedded modern canvas safari tents big enough for an extra bed. Enough space to pitch additional 10 tents to accommodate bigger groups.
Meals: The meal plan includes morning tea / coffee with cookies / breakfast / lunch / evening tea with hot snacks / barbeque around the bonfire / soup / dinner.
Toilets: 12 well kept dry pit toilets (the only type of toilets allowed on the beach) and 6 bathing tents. Draw hot water from the hamam (an experience in itself)

Bhagirathi Complex-Byasi is 30 kms upstream of Tapovan (Lakshman Jhulla) on the Badrinath / Kedarnath road is a village called
Byasi in Rishikesh. Cross the bridges of Shivpuri and Gular. 2.5 kms further up is a pedestrian bridge (similar to Lakshman Jhulla). Keep going further up. Follow the milestones indicating BYASI. Bhagirathi Complex-Byasi is the first building on the left as you enter Byasi. It is adjacent to the Van Chetna Kendra/ Police Post.

Visitors are required to make their own arrangements to come back to the camp from the point of culmination of the rafting. Arrangements if made by us will be charged extra. One can hire a taxi, use public transport or hire a driver.

In compliance with the safety regulations children below 14 yrs are not allowed white water rafting. However, children in age group of 10-14 can be allowed a fun trip (Camp-Gular) for an additional cost.

Visitors are required to sign a disclaimer / liability waiver form on arrival. Please carry a proof of identity.

Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc) for any reason/s in the wisdom of the river guide/instructor will not be allowed the rafting trip or undertake any other adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such circumstance/s will not be entertained. Decision of the river guide / management in this regard would be final.

Bulky clothes, saree, necktie, long skirts, suits are not permitted. Shorts, T-shirt preferably of synthetic material, floaters / sandals, sun glasses with strings are recommended.

Visitors are advised to travel light as they would be required to carry their own luggage down and up from the beach camp. Avoid carrying jewellery and valuables.

The beach and the camp facilities are exclusively for the resident guests. Drivers are required to make their own boarding and lodging arrangements.
