At the foot of the Kumaon Himalaya. The camp is conveniently located being 16 km from Ramnagar.
About:
The tents and cottages of the jungle camp are surrounded by mango trees and overlook the Kosi River. Guides are provided to the Park. The best time to see wildlife is from April to mid June.
Camp Corbett, established in 1987, is run by the Anand family, who are experienced naturalists as well as very hospitable hosts. Great care has been taken to create a small-scale jungle camp which is in harmony with its superb natural setting, overlooking the River Boar and facing the Himalayan foothills.
The mixed deciduous forests surrounding Camp Corbett are a paradise for the naturalist, birdwatcher or those who simply wish to spend some time in the special atmosphere of an Indian jungle.
