The shoe sole ruffled several times, following the beaten tracks of the Himalayan villagers. Sky touching trees, enigmatic skylights, endless nights spent star gazing and in the midst of all these, the unparalleled Himalayas as the singular inspiration. Out of these unadulterated experiences, a beautiful mind evolved and Camp Himalayan was born.

Away from hotels and resorts at Tirthan Valley- Banjar, village's like Bhiyar-Chehni are one of the many untouched examples of Concept Tourism (village life) as it has been for hundreds of years. One major realization through all these journeys was that strangers are fascinating and each journey revealed another. The need was gradually created in our minds to share these simple, yet unforgettable Himalayan villages and the day-to-day living of those villagers who have created a world of their own, far away from the anarchy of the exasperating metropolis.
 

Accommodation: We are operational with 6 All Wood Camp Cottages (sustainable semi-permanent) with attach toilets & 4 into 10X10 Jodhpur Canvas Tents (shared toilets and Bath) and accommodate up-to 40 students and 30 adults (on sharing basis) in 3 acres of Apple Orchard.

How to get there:
Is approximately 57 km from the Bhuntar Airport (near Kullu),

200 km from the Gaggal Airport in Kangra Valley (near Dharamshala),

and about 225 km from the Kalka Railway Station.

Tariff:

** For the comfort of our guests we recommend no more than 4 adults or teenagers or 2 adults and 2 children.

Children between 6-12 would be charged Rs.750/- per night.
Children under the age of 5 years stay would be complimentary.

Rs. 2500 for single person, occupying camp-cottage (subject to availability).

Rs. 750 for extra bed (Mattress On Wooden Floor).
Driver/helpers and maids would be charged Rs.300 for food and Rs.100 for stay as per staff arrangements.
