Location: Camp Serai Tiger has good connectivity round the year by road. Camp serai tiger can be reached from Nagpur 125 kms (Air, Rail & Road), Wardha 125 kms (Rail & Road), Chandrapur 35 kms (Rail & Road) and also Ballarshah 45 kms (Rail & Road).

About: Camp Serai Tiger is a ‘Tented Accommodation’ designed to cater to the needs of serious wild lifers and naturalists, located within the sprawling landscape of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR). Camp Serai Tiger offers luxury accommodation in weather-proof tents and has additional dormitories to safely accommodate school kids and large groups of visitors. Among other services, Serai Tiger offers Guided Safari inside the TATR.

The Camp Serai Tiger spans over three acres of land and is located amidst ephemeral streams and lakes that serve as natural water spot for wild animals, especially during summer. The location attracts many ‘wild’ visitors, and is frequented by sloth bear, gaur, wild dog, leopard and tiger apart from other species of ungulates, birds and reptiles.

The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) is rich in flora and fauna. The animals that can be sighted throughout the year include: Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bear, Gaur (bison), Hyenas, Jungle Cats, Small Indian Civet, Palm Civet, Wild Dogs, Rusty Spotted Cats, Rattel, Four Horned Antelope, Flying Squirrel and many species of ungulates like Sambar, Cheetal, Nilgai, Indian Mouse Deer and Barking Deer. The Birds make it an ornithologist’s paradise, with over 195 species, including serpent Eagle, Honey Buzzard, Paradise Fly Catcher, Aquatic Birds, Owlet and Raptors. Reptiles include marsh Crocodile, Rat Snake, Python and King Cobra. Insects are present in large numbers, the exciting ones being 70 odd varieties of spiders and butterflies.

By Flight: Nagpur 205 km ( 127.4 miles) via Chandrapur.

By Train: Chandrapur - 45 kms (28 miles).

By Road: Camp Serai Tiger is approachable via NH-7 from Nagpur till Jamb and then SH-264 to Temurda, Shegaon and to the camp via Ashta & Mudholi. Camp Serai Tiger is at a distance of about 5 kms from Mohrali Entrance of TATR.
