Location: The Hideaway River Lodge is strategically located on 8 acres of private land, a stones throw away from the banks of the Ramganga River and on the edge of the Corbett Tiger Reserve.

About: The Corbett Hideaway is nature's paradise redefined. Spread over an area of 10 acres, this wildlife resort is concealed in the thick of a mango grove where, in season, the mangoes hang ripe and luscious right against the door. Exotic mixed shrubbery, alive with flowers, is crossed by pebbled paths leading to charming cottages with open sit outs.

The resort interiors exude warmth and idyllic charm. The burnt red of the cottages form a restful backdrop to verdant environs. Sloping tiled roofs, cool stone floors with throw rugs, block wood furniture and other intricate details allow maximum comfort while continuing the fantasy of being in the wild.

The wild ambience of this Corbett forest lodge showcases splendid biodiversity. Apart from the hundred and seventy six mango trees that one can count at the Hideaway, a bountiful jackfruit tree near the reception, variegated bamboos including sacaram, bushes of hibiscus, rainflower, gandharaja, ticoma, raat ki rani and haemilia, azalea and guava trees aplenty (which yield fruit three times a year) are some of the resort's inhabitants!

The cottages have a clear area separation for sleeping and living as in a suite. Rooms have attached toilet & bath with running hot & cold water.

Deluxe CottagesPresently, there are 52 cottages, classified into the following categories:

Family Suites: Family Cottage at the Corbett Hideaway ensure recently renovated garden facing luxurious cottage with balcony in the first floor and private sit out , garden furniture at the ground level. Family Cottages ensure a clear area separation for sleeping and living. It has a small additional room with two beds for kids. Family Cottages have only one attached toilet and bath with running hot and cold water. The air-conditioning is only in the main bedroom.

Deluxe Cottages: The Deluxe Cottages have contemporary interiors offering views of the beautifully landscaped gardens and lawns. Rooms have newly designed attached bath and toilet and running hot and cold.

Superior CottagesSuperior Cottages: The Superior Cottages are recently renovated garden facing luxurious cottages with most of them having private sit out, garden furniture. Cottages have attached toilet and bath with running hot and cold water. Superior Cottages at the Corbett Hideaway ensure a clear area separation for sleeping and living.

Suite: Suite are recently renovated garden facing luxurious cottage with balcony in the first floor and private sit out , garden furniture at the ground level. Suites at the Corbett Hideaway ensure a clear area separation for sleeping and living. Cottages have attached toilet and bath with running hot and cold water.

Activities:

Angling: The challenge and thrill of an encounter with the Mahaseer (barbustor) a sport fish that attracts anglers from all over the world which not only rules the Indian waters like the tiger does the jungle, but also fights the way no fish can. It's patience and passion which rewards the anglers (catch ! click photographs ! release !).

Elephant Safari: The best way to explore , undisturbed by the mechanical roar of the jeep, open to the skies accompanied by the rhythmic scuff – scuff- scuff of Elephants feet and the creeks of the wooden Hauda's and the ever attentive Mahout. The Mahout would be pleased by your presence when he takes the elephant for a bath in the river. The Hideaway River Lodge has private Elephants of its own for Elephant Safari

Jeep Safari: Jungle jeep safaris would be conducted on 4x4 safari jeeps. Vehicles ensure comfortable seating with a good elbow room and wide angle view. The drivers-Naturalist are well trained and qualified, who not only know their game but also there guest.

Bird Watching: As you walk through the trails your own thoughts are broken only by the twitter of myriad birds. A very rich zone for bird watching.

Village Walk: Explore the local culture of Kumaon and also create an awareness amongst your self's about there living style which is basic, simple & rustic.

Natural Pool: A self inducted beach and a pool by the nature were you can spend your afternoon with your family
