Location : Trishul lodge is located in Majhkhali in the state of Uttaranchal in India. It is just 10 km from Ranikhet and 5 km from the golf course.

About : The lodge itself provides one with excellent birding opportunities. There are also numerous extremely rewarding walks through the terraced fields into thickly wooded pine & oak forest.

Accommodation : The lodge has 3 rooms and two toilets with running hot & cold water. The cottage has a fireplace and heaters are provided in each room in winter.

There are two rooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The rooms on the ground floor are independent bedrooms with twin & double beds and the one on the first floor has a double bed and one additional bed. There are two bathrooms with hot showers. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cook excels in delicious & hygienic meals.

Services : The Lodge has Wi-Fi Internet connectivity.

Activities : Golfers could play in one of the best golf courses in the Himalayas. One can take long walks or visit the village to observe the lifestyle of the local hill folk. One can also visit the war museum in Ranikhet. The Trishul Lodge is a good base for travellers who wish to visit nearby places such as Sheetlakhet, Chaubatia gardens, Jageshwar, Almora etc.

How to get there : To get to Trishul Lodge, one can take any of the following options:

• Drive from Delhi via Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar: 9 hours

• Drive from Delhi via Moradabad, Haldwani and Bhowali: 9 hours

• Overnight air-conditioned train from Old Delhi railway station (departing at 2245 hr.) to Kathgodam (arriving at 0615 hr.) and then 3 hr. drive via Bhowali.

• Overnight non air-conditioned train from Old Delhi railway station (departing at 2245 hr.) to Ramnagar (arriving at 0500 hr.) and then 3 hr. drive to Ranikhet.

• Upon reaching Ranikhet drive towards Golf Course and take the road to Majhkhali, drive 800 meters after Wood Villa Resort and turn left as the village market begins (a board that says 'Nanda Devi Gram').
