Location : Wayfarer Mountain Resort (Munsyari, Uttaranchal, India): Situated in the extreme North around 110 km beyond Vijaypur, 285 km from Kathgodam and 230 km from Ranikhet, and surrounded by the Panch Chulli range, the Mountain Resort is the gateway to the world famous Nanda Devi base camp, Milam and Ralam glaciers.
 

Accommodation : The Resort offers 5 Kumaoni log huts and 5 Swiss cottage tents, all with standard urban comforts amidst total Himalayan splendour.
 

Facilities : Each unit of Wayfarer Resort Munsyari has a 12'x10' living area equipped with a double bed, coffee table, chairs, clothes rack, jute flooring and lantern for emergencies. Every hut and tent is attached to an outhouse equipped with a western style toilet, sink and shower. The water, taken directly from the nearby waterfall, is heated by a small local geyser called hamam and supplied in buckets for bathing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are usually served in the dinning hut – a 16 seater restaurant that offers Indian and Continental cuisine on order. On special occasions arrangements are made for open air barbecue dinners.

- Drive from Nainital or Ranikhet via Almora, Bageshwar & Chaukori to Munsyari: 8 hours

- Drive from Vijaypur (Chaukori) via Thal to Munsyari: 4½ hours
