ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrive Delhi (room only)
Arrive Delhi in the evening. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi (breakfast)
Full day guided tour of New Delhi. Visit India Gate, drive past President House, Qutab Minar & Humayun’s tomb. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: DelhiAgra (breakfast)
Drive to Agra (4 hr.) in the morning. Full day guided tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal (Friday closed), Red Fort and Sikandra. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 04: AgraPangot (Nainital) (room only)
Visit Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur in the morning. Connect train in the evening to Lal Kuan (railhead for Nainital) at 2320 hours from Mathura station. Overnight in an airconditioned sleeper train.

Day 05: Pangot (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Arrive Lal Kuan station at 0845 hours and transfer to Nainital (3hr.) through the Himalayan roads. Stop en route at Sat Tal for breakfast. Leisurely walks to see the panoramic Himalayan views, boating in Naini lake, birding at Kilbury. Overnight at Jungle Lore Birding Lodge.

Day 06: Pangot (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Trek from Kilbury to Cheena Peak (4 hours) upto 10000 feet in the oak & rhododendron forest. Jungle Lore Birding Lodge.

Day 07: PangotRanikhet (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Trek from Ghughu Khan to Rati Ghat (4 hours) through the oak forest interspersed with Kumaoni villages. Drive to Ranikhet from Rati Ghat. Trishul Lodge.

Day 08: RanikhetCorbett National Park (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning tour of Ranikhet. Drive to Corbett National Park (3hr.) stopping en route for birding. Overnight in a cottage at Tiger Camp.

Day 09: Corbett National Park (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning elephant ride through the jungle for animal viewing. Afternoon jeep safari to another section of Corbett Tiger Reserve. Overnight in a cottage at Tiger Camp.

Day 10: Corbett National ParkDelhi (breakfast, lunch)
Morning trek along Kosi river. Drive back to Delhi in the afternoon. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 11: Delhionward journey

Morning guided tour of old Delhi covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat etc. Connect flight to onward destination.

Accommodation in: Tourist class hotels in Delhi (Hotel Sunstar or similar) and Agra (Hotel Pushp Villae or similar) with ensuite facilities. Jungle Lore Birding Lodge in Pangot, near Nainital; Trishul Lodge (Ranikhet), Tiger Camp (cottages) at Corbett National Park.
All jungle visits in Corbett National Park without park entrance fee.
Treks in Nainital.
Guided tours in Delhi, Fatehpur Sikri & Agra without entrance fee.
Meals as specified in the itinerary.
All land transfers by a private vehicle.
