Nagarhole-BR Hills-Bandipur-Ooty-Munnar (Eravikulam)-Periyar National Park-Kumarakom


ITINERARY
This tour can be customised.

Day 01: Bangalore-Nagarhole National Park (dinner)
Arrival in Bangalore in the morning. You will be met and transferred to Nagarhole National Park (5½ hours). Afternoon wildlife viewing in jeeps (time permitting). Overnight in a wildlife lodge.

Day 02 & 03: Nagarhole National Park (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning wildlife viewing and birding in the park or a coracle ride on the Kabini river. Evening drive / elephant ride into the jungle. Overnight in a wildlife lodge.

Day 04: Nagarhole National Park-B R Hills (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Drive to B R Hills (6 hours). Afternoon trek in B R Hills for nature watch. Overnight stay in tents in K Gudi Camp.

Day 05: B R Hills (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning and evening wildlife viewing and birding in jeep / elephant back. Overnight stay in tents in K Gudi Camp.

Day 06: B R Hills-Bandipur National Park (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning departure to Bandipur (4-hours). Arrive for lunch at the resort. Afternoon visit to the wildlife sanctuary in jeeps. Overnight stay at Bandipur Jungle Lodge or similar.

Day 07: Bandipur National Park (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning & evening wildlife viewing and birding. Overnight stay at Bandipur Jungle Lodge or similar.

Day 08: Bandipur National Park-Ooty (breakfast)
Early morning drive to Ooty (80 km / 3 hours). Arrive Ooty in the afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure or bird watch on own. Overnight stay in a resort.

Day 09: Ooty-Munnar (room only)
Drive to Munnar. Afternoon drive to Rajamalai to see Nilgiri Thar (optional). Overnight stay in Tea County or Tall Trees Resort or similar.

Day 10: Munnar-Periyar National Park (breakfast, dinner)
Morning visit to the park for wildlife and birding (optional). Drive to Periyar in the afternoon (3 hr.). Overnight stay in Aranya Niwas or similar.

Day 11: Periyar National Park (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning and evening boat ride to see elephants or go birding (optional). Overnight stay in Aranya Niwas or similar.

Day 12: Periyar National Park-Kumarakom (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner)
Drive to Kumarakom in the morning (5 hr.). Arrive Kumarakom in the afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Waterscapes resort or similar in the backwaters.

Day 13: Kumarakom (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning backwater cruise and evening visit to the bird sanctuary (optional). Overnight in Waterscapes resort or similar in the backwaters.

Day 14: Kumarakom-Cochin-onward journey (breakfast)
Drive to Cochin (3 hr.) in the morning. Transfer to the airport for onward journey.
