Day One: - McLeodganj to Triund (2875mts) 9kms
An easy, gradual uphill hike which starts from Dharamkot and passes through the regional mountaineering centre. The trek gains an elevation of about 1000metres in 9kms. Triund is a base for many treks to Chamba region, Kullu region and Lahaul. One enjoys good views of the Mun peak from Triund. It takes about 3-4 hours from Dharamkot to reach Triund. The climb is moderate except for the last 22 curves which are taxing.
Day Two: - Triund to Inderhara Pass (4350mts) to Nagdal Lake 10kms
From Triund, a well defined trail attains height gradually and after a distance of about 300mts, it joins a rocky path which ascends steeply and terminates at Khabrotu. It’s an alpine meadow trail thereafter descending to lower Illaqua where there are shepherd huts. A steep climb above the glacier takes us to Lahesh Caves enroute to Inderhara pass. The pass stands between the Mun peak and Slab peaks. There are grand views of the Pir Panjal range from the pass. At a distance of 2.5 kms from the pass is the sacred Nagdal Lake our camping ground for the night.
Day Three: - Nagdal Lake to Guna Devi (2310mts) via Jari got 16kms
Back over the pass to Illaqua got, heading northwards a 3km descent to Jari Got. From Jari got it’s a gradual climb to Rehlu Got and then again a descent to Kanjrala, shepherds abode. From here Guna Devi is 7kms. The trail passes through dense forest rich in flora and fauna. At Guna Devi there is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali.
