Location: Camp is Located at Byasi village 28 kms from Rishikesh on the road leading to Devprayag / Badrinath, 13 Kms from Shivpuri and 2 Kms. before BYASI.

About: Camp River N Range-Ganges is a refreshing campsite on the silvery sand beach of the majestic Ganga, 27.5 kms from the holy city of Rishikesh. Amidst incredibly spectacular landscape, wild jungle, modern safari tents & modern camping amenities, the various panoramic facets of the camp together provide the visitors an experience to cherish for a long long time. It’s a great holiday destination for children, adults, elders, adventurous and not so adventurous.

Accommodation: 25 twin bedded modern safari tents big enough for an extra bed. Enough space to pitch additional 10 tents to accommodate bigger group.

Toilets: 12 well kept dry pit toilets (the only type of toilets allowed on the beach) and 6 bathing tents. Draw hot water from the hamam (an experience in itself)
 

Amenities:

• Canvas safari tents, sealed, carpeted with two cots, foam mattress, clean white linen, poly fill quilt and pillow. Tents are big enough for an additional cot.

• Meals are served in the dinning tent and have fixed timings. We provide a bottle of potable water per person on complimentary basis. These can be refilled any number of times from the jar of potable water provided in the dinning tent.

• Our well equipped base kitchen at Camp Bhagirathi.

• Clean & hygienic dry pit toilets. These are the only type of toilets allowed on the beach camps by the forest department. They comprises of a western style thunder box over a pit. Have a supply of toilet roll and deodorant. Are disinfected with lime after use.

• Enough number of toilets. They are supposed to be at a distance from the river in order to avoid the discharge getting into the river.

• Separate bathing tents. Bathing tents have supply of running cold water drawn from natural springs. Hot water can be drawn from the traditional hammams.

How To Reach:

The camp is located 27.5 kms upstream of Tapovan (Lakshman Jhulla-Rishikesh) on the Badrinath/ Kedarnath highway. Cross the bridges of Shivpuri and Gular. 2.5 km further up is a pedestrian bridge (similar to Lakshman Jhulla). Go further up and between milestones Byasi- 3 Kms and 2 kms look for our signage “Camp River N Range – Ganges”. Park your vehicle and come down the passage to arrive at Camp River N Range-Ganges.
