ITINERARY 

Day 01: Kochi – Athirapally (78 kms. – 02½ hrs.) 
Welcome to God’s Own Country. Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport/Railway Station. Later proceed to Athirapally. Reach and check-in at the hotel. Relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Athirapally which is within the breathtaking embrace of the deep forests, a rich and diverse flora & fauna abounds. Athirapally Waterfalls are often referred to as the Niagara Falls of India. Day 02: Mysore - Ooty (164 kms. – 04 hrs.)

On the way you can watch Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary, Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary along with Kalhatty Waterfalls. Bandipur & Mudumalai is the home for about 25 tigers, 700 wild elephants, leopards, panthers, 1,000 gaur (Indian bison), bears, bonnet monkeys, horned antelopes, flying squirrels, hyenas and eagles. This beautiful park is situated in a deep ravine and has eight major sections. The winding footpaths spreaded all over the park is the most distinctive and lovable feature of this park. Lamb's Rock is 08 kms. from Coonoor and on the way to Dolphin's Nose. It commands a grand view of the Coimbatore Plains. Laws Falls is a beautiful picnic spot, situated at Coonoor-Mettupalayam road at a distance of 07 kms. from Coonoor. Day 04: Ooty – Bangalore (297 kms. – 07 hrs.)

Later proceed to see the other attractions of Madurai. Thirumalai Nayak Palace, the main Palace where the king lived. Vandiyur Mariamman the area of the tank, and the island pavilion with a garden in the center. Thirupparankunram, one of the six houses of Lord Subramanya, the second son of Lord Siva, is located here. Subramanya is said to have married Indra's daughter, Deivanai, on this hill. The rock-cut temple of Subramanya here is thronged with pilgrims on all days of special worship. Day 03: Madurai – Rameshwaram (177 kms. – 04½ hrs.)

This is the spiritual place from where Lord Rama built a bridge across the sea to rescue his wife Sita, from her abductor, Ravana. Other interesting places are Agnitheertham which is located at a few meters from the Ramanathaswamy temple. Day 04: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari (320 kms. - 08 hrs.)

ITINERARY

Day 01: Kochi
Welcome to God’s Own Country. Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport/ Railway Station and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later, proceed for a half day city sightseeing tour of Kochi. Kochi which is having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down memory lane. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 02: Kochi – Munnar (158 kms. – 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. On the way you can also watch the lovely waterfalls in Cheeyappara and colourful flowers in Blossom Garden. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore rest of the day along with the nature. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 03: Munnar
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 04: Munnar – Kumarakom (200 kms. – 05 hrs.)
Enjoy sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing. Kumarakom is one of the few places in the world where the means for transportation is through boats. Kumarakom is blessed with the Vembanad Lake which has its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks weave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. The major attraction of Kumarakom is the Bird Sanctuary which lies at the edge of the grounds of an old estate where a profusion of all kinds of birds can be observed. Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal, and water fowl can be seen in abundance here, as much as can the Siberian storks which migrate to this place each year. Day 05: Houseboat
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the boat Jetty, board the beautifully decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising. The backwaters of Kerala is a unique product of Kerala and is found no where else in the world. A glide in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. You’re in a watery universe, so quiet, even you can hear your own blood pumping around your head. Day 06: Houseboat - Athirapally (150 kms. - 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Athirapally. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed to enjoy with the nature’s gifted waterfalls. Athirapally which is within the breathtaking embrace of the deep forests, a rich and diverse flora & fauna abounds. Athirapally Waterfalls are often referred to as the Niagara Falls of India. Behold the spectacular view of the crashing 80 ft waterfalls. Day 07: Athirapally
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Thumpurmuzhi Gardens, Charpa Falls, Vazhachal Forest Gardens & Water Falls. The Vazhachal waterfalls are located very close to the Athirapally Falls and are a part of the Chalakudy river stream. Optional activities: Enjoy a spot fishing in the river. Pay a visit to the tribal village, trek to the base of the waterfall. Find your way through the Jungle (subject to permission from the forest department). Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort. 

Day 08: Athirapally – Kochi (78 kms – 02½ hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later pack your baggages with a promise to return once again to this part of the world.... Proceed on time to board your flight/train with sweet memories of your holidays. We await for your next visit ... Bon Voyage.
